Friends is now a Best Friends Network Partner
The Mohave County Animal Shelter provides daily care and medical for all of the county’s unwanted animals. An average day at the shelter has about 200 animals in their care (cats and dogs mostly).

The Friends of the Mohave County Animal Shelter have been in the process of applying for partner status with the Best Friends Network. Best friends is a sanctuary and a network dedicated to helping to end killing in America’s shelters through building community programs and partnerships. We are excited to partner with them and hopefully be able to find more rescue partners as well as be able to host community programs for our local Mohave County community.
Friends of Mohave County Shelter is always looking for donations to be able to help the County Shelter continue providing needed life-saving procedures, food and other supplies for our abandoned and surrendered dogs and cats.
